JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

This position provides a lead role for the TLG (a wholly-owned Entergy Subsidary) proposal and marketing function.  Owns and/or executes key proposal activities. Works with clients, Legal representation and Sr. Leadership to produce quality proposals and negotiate executable contracts. Participates in process improvement initiatives and communicates results. Maintains schedules and due dates. Performs other administrative work as directed in support of TLG (a wholly-owned Entergy Subsidary) Services’ business requirements.


JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop qualifications, proposals and presentations alongside leadership and in accordance with client RFP/RFQ’s. Facilitate the writing, editing, and tailoring of proposals to produce compliant and compelling content with easy-to-read narratives. Develop, maintain and update standard marketing materials including projects sheets, resumes and other collateral. Review pre-executed contracts in an effort to best represent the Company while meeting client’s requirements. Assist with coordination of company travel and client interaction in support of new contracts and proposal presentations. Maintain a client database with up-to-date contact information and a schedule of recurring work.  Assist with website development and content. Provide support for reporting and other administrative functions as required or directed.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications, English, Journalism or other related fields and/or experience preferred.


Minimum experience required of the position

Eight years in a client-oriented business role preferred. Previous experience in nuclear,  marketing, proposal and/or similar work is desirable.


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.  Attention to detail with a focus on quality. Exceptional writing, grammar, and editing/proofreading skills is required.  Experience overseeing the production of complex materials in a deadline-driven environment is desirable. Has the ability to function as a team player, working well with all types and levels of professionals. Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects while meeting strict deadlines.  Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and time management, with the ability to interact at the client and senior staff level.

Office environment with minimal physical requirements.
