MARY/PURPOSE

Prepares project management procedures and attachments to be made available in the eB REFLIB NMM Forms folder for the fleet project management disciplines.  Provides governance for Entergy's Stage Gate Process (SGP) and project management standards - ensuring standardization and continuous improvement in project delivery across Entergy's business units.  Provides guidance to project teams on project controls, project business case development, and lessons learned to achieve the requirements of Entergy's Stage Gate Process (SGP) and project management standards.

 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides guidance in the various disciplines of project management and control; maintains ownership for the development and continuous improvement of procedures that standardize and optimize project delivery across Entergy's business units.

Utilizes project management and project controls expertise as well as business acumen and experience to provide project management, controls, and business case guidance to project team members across Entergy's business units.

Conducts training on the Entergy SGP, project management standards/implementation guides and project management procedures in various project controls disciplines.

Work with functional area owners to identify opportunities to improve fleet processes, procedures and programs through the use of data and opportunity assessment tools.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position

B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Accounting or equivalent work experience.  
Desired: MBA or other advanced degree.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Excellent written and oral communication skills.   Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.    Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.   Ability to handle multiple assignments and work within deadlines.  Ability to work effectively as a team player.  Communication and customer service skills.  Experience in using software applications as applicable to department function

 

Any certificates, licenses, etc., required for the position
Desired: PMI PMP Certification; Procedure Professionals Association (PPA) Certification
