Participates in the execution of the Business Expansion and Retention programs, activities and policies to improve the economy of Entergy's service territory and growth.


  • Manages a portfolio of existing customers and assists with their physical expansion and growth plans; may also support efforts to locate new customers.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with key existing industry decision-makers and company representatives. Executes visits to existing industry corporate offices to identify expansion and retention opportunities.
  • Partners and coordinates engagement with state, regional and local economic development personnel on retention and expansion projects, and on associated workforce training and development programs for existing industries.
  • Identifies potential growth opportunities with existing industry as well as red flags for distressed companies. Attends in-state meetings of existing industry plant management.  
  • Coordinates all necessary internal parties to deliver on electric service, contracts, account(s), and in-service dates to satisfy the customer.
  • Responsible for effectively communicating internally and externally to remove barriers to growth.
  • Provides updates to management and directors to keep them informed of current status with customers.


Minimum education and experience required of the position

  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3-5 years of project management, industry and/or technical experience OR in lieu of degree, a minimum of 4-6 years of project management, industry and/or technical experience is required.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work within a team environment. Strong organizational, project management, business acumen, technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of PC operations and software.  Ability to work in-office and remotely and travel in-state.
