CS Business Analyst

 

In this role, you will be accountable for maintaining the relationship with the end user for small to medium scale projects. You are responsible for eliciting requirements/user stories and representing them throughout the systems development cycle. The  CS Business Analyst will lead requirements elicitation and documentation for a small to medium sized project and work as part of a business analysis team on larger projects under the supervision of more senior colleagues.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Coordinates Plan & Define activities as part of the Requirements Development process for small to medium size projects
  • Development of business process models and business requirements/user stories (functional and non-functional)
  • Partners with the business community to develop comprehensive user acceptance testing/training plans and ensuring the application is successfully transitioned to production
  • Investigates business issues and data challenges
  • Serves as the requirements liaison across project stakeholders
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree required (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience. 3+ years in an applicable business environment.
  • 3+ years' experience in a BA role

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

  • Working technical knowledge and understanding of business analyst fundamentals
  • Working technical knowledge of writing and leading Business Requirements Documents
  • Working technical knowledge of business process modeling; knowledge in business/functional domain
  • Understanding of business issues and data challenges of the assigned business area
  • Understanding of business processes and how applications support the process
  • Demonstrate critical skills such as collaboration, strong written and verbal communication skills, and analytical capability
  • Ability to facilitate sessions with project stakeholders, asking probing questions to elicit business process discussion and creating process flow diagrams.
