Navigate to the Career Opportunities section located on the Careers main page. Select the appropriate category to search for roles within your interest area or skill set, or search for jobs by keyword or location.
Search for jobs using several filtering options on our Careers page:
- Use keywords: Enter keywords related to the job title, skill set or job category that interests you (e.g., lineworker, analyst, customer service).
- Filter by location: Narrow the search by selecting specific cities, states or geographic regions. This will help you focus on roles available near you or in preferred areas.
- Filter by job category: Choose from categories such as Corporate; Engineering; Field and skilled trade; Internships; Co-ops and apprenticeships; or Military and veterans
- Review and apply: Once filters are applied, browse the refined list and select Apply on any role of interest.
Job Alerts allow you to opt in to receive new job posting notifications or hear more about career opportunities at Entergy. To register to receive these emails, click on the "Alerts" in the top navigation bar on the Careers main page and complete the required fields. You must be logged into your profile to create an alert. Job alert emails are an option for those who want to receive them. These alerts are sent according to your own selected frequency and include open jobs that you may be interested in, based on the interests and locations you selected when you created your account.
The number of positions you can apply for is unlimited, but please note there are minimum requirements for some positions.
- Submit an application: Create or log in to your profile, complete the online application and upload required documents.
- Application review by our talent acquisition team: Recruiters will review your application to confirm minimum qualifications and determine whether you should advance.
- Pre‑employment testing (if applicable): For certain positions, you will be asked to complete required assessments or Edison Electrical Institute (EEI) testing.
- Interview: You may be invited to participate in one or more interviews — virtual or in‑person, individual or panel.
- Offer: If selected, the recruiter will prepare and extend an offer to you after all internal approvals are complete.
- Pre‑employment screening: Background checks, drug screenings and other pre-hire steps will be conducted after an offer has been extended.
- Start date: Once all requirements are met, you will be cleared for hire and provided with a start date.
You can check the status of your application by logging into your candidate profile in the SuccessFactors system. Select "My Applications" to view the current status of each job to which you have applied. The system will display labels such as Application Received, In Progress, Application Under Review, Offer Accepted and Pre-Employment Screening. You are encouraged to continue to check your status online for updates.
- To withdraw: Open your profile and click "Withdraw" next to the job.
- To update: Upload an updated resume or change profile details directly in your account.
Several positions at Entergy require testing, some of which include: administrative, clerical, customer service, lineworkers, mechanics, operators, helpers, secretaries and clerks. Please review the job description carefully to see if the position requires testing.
