About the Role

Our ServiceNow support and development team is looking for a motivated student intern to gain hands-on, enterprise-level experience across the full lifecycle of platform development - from requirements gathering to delivery and support. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside experienced ServiceNow developers and administrators on real projects, including modern Agentic AI initiatives built natively on the ServiceNow platform.

You'll be exposed to a broad range of disciplines rather than a single narrow task, making this a great fit for a student who wants to explore where their interests and strengths lie within enterprise IT.

What You'll Be Exposed To

• ServiceNow development - configuration, scripting, workflow/flow design, and platform customization
• Agentic AI development on ServiceNow - building and testing AI agents, working with models, agent orchestration, and related tooling (e.g., MCP) within the platform
• QA testing - test case design/automation, execution, defect tracking, and validation of new features
• Agile project management - sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, story writing, and tracking work in an agile tool
• Requirements documentation - gathering, clarifying, and writing clear business and technical requirements
• Solution documentation - technical design docs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
• Enterprise IT governance - exposure to change management, release processes, and other governance practices used in a large IT organization

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Current coding/programming skills (any modern language; JavaScript is a plus given the platform)
• Familiarity with core AI concepts - what models are, how agents work, and general awareness of emerging standards like MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• Basic IT literacy (understanding of how enterprise software, tickets, and systems generally work)
• Strong communication skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn
• GPA 2.8 or above
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (Computer Science, Information Systems, AI or related field preferred)

Preferred (not required):

• Prior exposure to ServiceNow (development, administration, or as an end user)
• Experience with QA/testing practices
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience writing technical or business documentation
• Coursework or projects involving AI/ML, LLMs, or agent-based systems
