Job Summary/Purpose
The Vice President of Products and Services Growth is responsible for the overall strategy, development, management, and commercialization of Entergy’s product and service offerings, supporting the company’s Operating Companies. This position leads efforts to enhance customer experience and drive business growth by delivering solutions that align with organizational priorities and are supported by robust business cases. The role oversees the full lifecycle of products and services, including continuous evolution, as well as the financial and operational stewardship of the business line
The VP also leads Entergy’s national accounts engagement on behalf of the operating companies This executive is accountable for cultivating cross-functional collaboration and championing innovative product and business management strategies that drive Entergy’s enterprise growth. By proactively engaging with customers and aligning business objectives, the VP ensures that both Entergy and its national account customers achieve their goals, fostering long-term partnerships and enhancing overall satisfaction.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
1. Define P&S Strategy for customer offerings - oversee the detailed mapping of the customer experience and operational touchpoints. Set the strategy for each offering based on input from our Operating Companies, enterprise partners, and broader organizational objectives.
2. Manage P&S Portfolio– lead development, providing solutions, and managing a portfolio of new and existing products/services. Identify and prioritize new solution development. Owns the commercial success of products/services.
3. Drive National Accounts Engagement - lead team dedicated to the experience and growth of our national account customers, including elevated customer care and co-creation of P&S offerings where applicable. Develop and execute strategies to deepen relationships with national accounts, prioritizing initiatives that grow AGM. Serve as a key interface for national account engagements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position:
Bachelors’ degree preferred, master’s degree in relevant discipline preferred.
Minimum experience required of the position:
Commercial operations experience: A seasoned leader with a minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in customer-facing commercial operations with specific strategic account management experience creating and structuring new and enhanced solutions and services. Ability to quickly analyze, structure, and deliver complex solutions for customers that build value.
Relevant sector experience: Electric utility, energy delivery, or applicable service business with an in-depth
understanding of the commercial aspects of energy delivery is preferred. Other large capex industrial experience will be considered.
Leadership experience: Expertise in managing cross-functional teams including operations, strategy, and/or product development. Ability to inspire both direct and indirect teams, motivating teams to achieve outcomes.
Has led large teams.
Stakeholder management: Experience successfully navigating/influencing multiple senior stakeholders. Understands the big picture of how the regulatory framework affects the business and can strike a balance between customer and company benefit. This includes a detailed understanding of solution/service impact on the company’s revenue and profitability.
