JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

This role collaborates with key stakeholders to develop and maintain engineering design standards for new generation plants (gas). The Project Engineer ensures engineering products are complete, accurate, and constructible for all elements of a project’s scope. · Acts as Contract Manager for engineering contracts outside the EPC scope.

· Performs/manages engineering design reviews to ensure compliance with permits, codes, and utility standards while supporting strategic, operational, and maintenance goals of the project.

· Coordinates with Project Managers to follow the Project Delivery System and ensure requirements and deliverables are met.

· Participates in contractor/vendor selection with a focus on assessing engineering experience, competencies, and capability.

· Supports/leads technical open-book engineering processes during development with contractors and applies value-engineering concepts to ensure competitive project outcomes.
