Job Summary/Purpose
The Operations Coordinator for Meter Services will supervise, coordinate, and assist in Meter Service activities. Personally model a strong commitment to safety and cultivate safe work practices with Entergy and contract meter services employees. Demonstrate Entergy’s employee and leadership practices in all activities. Be responsible for the daily oversight of Meter Services operations to ensure excellent quality of service is provided to both internal and external customers within the context of Entergy’s Mission and Vision. This position will interface with and support other work groups daily. This position requires frequent travel during the workday and occasional overnight travel, strong business computer application skills, ability to work independently as well as part of a team, ability to make good decisions in a timely manner in keeping with goals/objectives, ability to perform under pressure, successfully adapt to changing demands/requirements, ability to manage multiple activities/priorities, strong attention to detail and accuracy, solving complex operational and personnel problems, and effectively communicate with company personnel, contractors and external customers.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain a positive culture in the workgroup.
- Monitor/manage daily schedules, vacations, sick time, and assignment changes
- Monitor workload to determine necessity/validity of overtime
Manage and adjust workload and resources throughout the day as needed
Assist with next day assignment planning - Respond to radio, phone, and system messages
- Communicate relevant information to employees in a timely manner.
- Research customer claims/complaints via SAP, communication with employees, contractors, and customers; follow-up as necessary and insuring claims/complaints are closed on time.
- Address issues and concerns from other departments
- Be available for calls from Meter Service personnel for assistance with account information, directions and/or location
- Assisting employees with Service Orders and manage commits by proper scheduling and routing of tickets
- Assist networks and state with storm and out of town storm duties
- Have thorough knowledge of Entergy’s Safe Work Rules
- Conduct field Safety Audits and observations
- Setup appointments for access to property for completion of service tickets
- Interface with customers when requested work cannot be completed on commit date
- Schedule/Trouble shoot and resolve vehicle, computer, tool issues
- Manage/monitor disconnect activity to ensure individual and team goals are achieved
- Make decisions with employees and Mobile Data Dispatchers to disconnect or not after research of accounts when required
- Manage, monitor, and follow-up on all after hour call outs to Meter Services personnel
- Communicate and effectively interact with other work groups.
- Conduct field safety audits and coaching cards. Travel overnight as required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum experience required of the position
Minimum 8 years of experience in related field.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
- Strong knowledge of computers and related technology. Proficient with Microsoft 365/Microsoft Office.
