JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

Provide support to area Engineers and Designers at an Entergy Service Center in relation to power distribution activities. Coordinates departmental activities on day-to-day tasks, provides input on technical evaluations, develop scope and timelines for installation of services, and execute work activities.

 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Engineering and Design with day-to-day tasks
  • Conduct troubleshooting
  • Data analysis
  • Prepare documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and interoffice correspondences
  • Complete work in a professional timely fashion
  • Handle multiple assignments with different deadlines
  • Proactively escalate issues to supervisor/manager


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
High School Diploma and active enrollment in an Engineering discipline at an ABET accredited university.

Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.



Minimum experience required of the position

  • Summer Intern: 1+ year(s) of college education towards a Bachelor of Science degree in any Engineering discipline.


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Problem solving, clear communication, time management, and teamwork.

Must be able to proficiently use computers and able to adapt to different software programs.
