This is an intern position local to the Hammond, Louisiana area - working through the Fall on a part-time basis while attending classes.



Job Summary/Purpose:

Help HR Operations (HRO) team develop best in class automation solutions for HR business processes through systems enhancements, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), or other technology-based solutions.  Incumbent will partner with subject matter experts for various human resources processes and partner with them to design, develop, test and implement efficient and effective process automation.  This automation would include, but is not limited to, the creation and testing of Digital Robots or "Bots" to be used for process automation.  Training on the specific process automation software will be provided.


Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide automation innovation to the HR Operations Department and Robotics Process Automation team as needed.

Deliver efficient and effective automation solutions for business processes while ensuring compliance and achievement of service levels

Support enterprise-wide automation efforts.

Must maintain confidentiality of data.


Minimum Education required of this position:

Pursuing undergraduate or masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical field.

GPA 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher

Proficient in RPA technology or other applicable automation system platforms.


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

Good to have knowledge of automation software, C Programming Language, and software development process.

Helpful to have experience with development and testing of enhancement processes.

Experience or proficiency in Application Development is ideal.

Must be able to maintain confidentiality of all data.
