Job Title: Analyst (Damage Prevention)

Job Summary/Purpose:

Plans, conducts and supervises assignments and analysis for functional area.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilites: 

  • Pull ticket info and reports as need for Supervisors and Manager (requested reports have been from DigTix and GeoTab)
  • Monthly O&M/CAP split numbers 
  • Change service type on customer accounts in CCS if locators find map info is wrong.
  • Maintain monthly calendars for each state showing in house locators Duty schedules, vacations, etc...
  • Maintain Safety Files
  • Maintain department records
  • Review and submit invoices
  • Audit invoices by comparing to contractor and department reports
  • Maintain and update DP SharePoint site.
  • Conducts complex business and financial analysis based on project scope and objectives and develops policy recommendations to management.
  • Defines protocols and requirements for data quality control and ensures that all analysis and project work adhere to requirements.
  • Provides industry expertise and applies best practices to project work.
  • Interacts with department management and may interact with leadership throughout the organization to identify issues.
  • And any other task/reporting dealing with 811 damage prevention

 

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business related field required or equivalent work experience. Desired: Master's Degree.

 

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • Analyst III: 4+ years of professional experience.
  • Analyst, Senior: 6+ years of professional experience.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position:

  • Analytical skill set with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
