Position Summary / Purpose
Internally classified as “Performance Transformation Catalyst,” this role will function as a subject matter expert in designing and implementing new or modified business process solutions using software solutions (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, etc.) to deliver a leaner and more efficient business while maintaining and improving service delivery.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Designs and develops creative technical solutions to deliver a leaner, more efficient business while maintaining and improving service delivery
- Develop problem statements, define business objectives and develop problem-solving approaches for large-scale transformational and process improvement efforts and initiatives.
- Designs processes that enable end‐to‐end value delivery and optimize efficiency
- Develops performance indicators that drive performance transparency and continuous improvement
- Develops business cases for continuous improvement opportunities and present to senior management for approval
- Uses process improvement methodologies (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.) and related skills to facilitate end-to-end process mapping sessions, perform gap analyses and drive teams to re-design processes to be more efficient, including the application of technology for further automation and the development of related performance management measures
- Work closely with others in the organization to develop problem solving skills and to learn and understand CI methodologies, tools and processes.
- Develop quantitative analyses, ad-hoc reports and models to measure performance of the improvement throughout its life cycle.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholder and escalate issues as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Education Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience
Experience Required:
- Performance Transformation Catalyst Senior: 6+ years of related experience.
- Performance Transformation Catalyst Senior Lead: 8+ years of related experience.
- Performance Transformation Catalyst Senior Staff: 10+ years of related experience.
Skills/Behaviors Required:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Apps, especially Power BI, Power Apps, Forms and SharePoint.
- Customer-focused mindset and strong interpersonal skills; ability to effectively interact, communicate and work with diverse groups of people to build strong relationships and influence successful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of how to leverage performance metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunities and measure business results.
- Ability to deal with and think through ambiguity, complex issues, competing priorities and make thoughtful recommendations.
- Understands how to choose the right problem-solving methods and tools for the problem at hand
- Self-starter who is able to work independently, manages time effectively and takes ownership of results.
- Ability to use statistical analysis techniques & tools (e.g., Minitab or other).
- The ability to coach and mentor others is desired.
