Job Summary/Purpose
Responsible for facilitating alignment and providing governance over all aspects of the Leadership Training program and non-accredited training.  Work to develop and maintain Entergy Leadership and non-accredited training programs.  Advises and recommends appropriate fleet training solutions for site and corporate groups as assigned.
  

Job Duties/Responsibilities
1.    Assists in providing governance over the leadership and non-accredited training programs.

2.    Assists in providing governance over other broad-based fleet training initiatives related to leadership training and non-accredited training programs.

3.    Assists in driving standardization of fleet-wide leadership training programs to achieve common qualifications, common training materials, and common training program structures.
4.    Oversees the development of training lessons and materials for fleet-wide courses, including eLearning.
5.    Reviews and evaluates performance of site training departments as related to execution of leadership training activities.
6.    Interfaces with regulatory and industry representatives on issues related to fleet leadership training.
7.    Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates training materials and programs using the systematic approach to training.
8.    Uses new and existing technology to improve efficiency, quality, and cost of training
9.    Reviews training material developed by other instructors to ensure it is instructionally sound, interesting and engaging for the students, meets quality standards and adheres to applicable regulations.
10.     Leads and/or participates in training self-assessments.
11.    Provides training expertise on fleet standardization and technology projects.
12.    Participates in program specific training review group, performance center, and council meetings
13.    Reviews and evaluates performance of leaders as related to execution of Entergy’s Leadership standards, expectations, and fundamentals.
    

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position
                        
BS degree in science, engineering or education with prior experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical services (or equivalent) at a commercial nuclear power plant, or equivalent work experience. Desired: Masters Degree in education
      

Minimum experience required of the position
 6+ years of relevant instructor experience with a bachelor's degree; 10+ years of relevant instructor experience without a bachelor's degree.  Experience leading training assessments and writing assessment reports.
 Desired: At least 3 years prior training experience as an instructor or program coordinator. Desired 10+ years nuclear industry experience.
        

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
In depth understanding of the systematic approach to training, adult learning theory, eLearning and how it is executed at Entergy Nuclear. 
Excellent project management skills. 
Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.  Ability to handle multiple and time sensitive projects. 
Ability to confidentially manage sensitive records of the company
Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Articulate Storyline 
Ability to serve as a subject matter expert for training software applications and databases 
Ability to apply technology tools and process to find solutions to training related problems
