Develops and maintains schedules for a portfolio of capital projects across the entire nuclear fleet. Drives scheduling practices, metrics, and reporting standardization as the corporate subject matter expert. Develops detailed schedules using logic ties in Primavera ( P-6) software. Supports portfolio prioritization based on schedule inputs and constraints.


  • Develops and maintains the schedule of the portfolio of capital projects for the nuclear fleet including on line and outage schedules.
  •  Develops and maintains resource loading profiles. Interfaces with work group representatives to level resources using selected profiles.
  •  Reviews specific scope of work orders and makes recommendations for scheduling. Develops 'what if' schedules and performs analysis with working groups to determine the most effective method of scheduling the work. Identifies support activities and adds these activities to the schedule.
  •  Updates scheduling software programs. Provides reports to define work scope. Coordinates with Operations to determine the scope of tagging system boundaries. Updates progress on schedules during execution. Conducts critical path analysis for outage schedules.
  •  Assists with development of post work critiques. Facilitates the interface between multiple work groups. Identifies deficiencies, analyzes alternatives and recommends solutions to schedule conflicts. Recommends changes to existing methods, procedures and processes to improve overall outage activities.
  •  Communicates technical information, concepts and ideas both verbally and in writing.


Minimum education required of the position:

  • None
    • Desired: High School diploma with power plant experience in maintenance or operations.


Minimum experience required of the position:

  • At least 4 years of power plant experience.
  • Desired:
    • 2 years' experience in maintenance, operations, or project management at the facility.
    • 10 or more years of nuclear experience; managing/scheduling projects is a plus.


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Proficient in the use of Primavera scheduling tools.
  • Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations.
  • Outstanding communication and conflict management skills.
    • Desired: Proficiency with current computer business applications, including Primavera Analytics.

    • Desired: PMP
