Job Summary:

The position is responsible for managing filings on behalf of Entergy Arkansas made at the Arkansas Public Service Commission (APSC). Such filings include but are not limited to base rate proceeding, acquisitions, tariff filings, cost recovery mechanisms, routine reporting requirements, transmission facilities certification projects, special rate contracts, customer complaints, storm cost recovery.   

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing project management support including administering project meetings, starting projects and managing projects on schedule
  • Drafting and facilitating witness testimony and exhibits and managing the review process through testimony completion
  • Ensuring filings are accurate and made on a timely basis
  • Managing the discovery process associated with proceedings before the APSC and communications with the General Staff of the Commission
  • Interpreting, executing, and ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory rules, tariffs, and APSC orders
  • Coordinating with the Regulatory Affairs departments of the other Operating Companies
  • Partnering with various organizations and subject matter experts within the Company to ensure complete and accurate information is provided in regulatory outcomes
  • Presenting recommendations to senior leadership with clear rationale and evidence
  • Coordinating with various groups on stakeholder engagement efforts
  • Assisting in developing and executing on EAL Business Plan
  • Leading or providing support for additional tasks as assigned.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum education required of the position:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management or equivalent (4-year degree required).

Minimum experience required of the position:

5 years experience in Operations Management, Project Management, Regulatory, Legal, or Customer Service

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position


Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment. Must possess a working knowledge of utility rates, regulatory issues, company policy, construction of new facilities and contract requirements, and have the ability to prioritize opportunities based on probability of success and profitability. Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator, able to effectively develop and present regulatory recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.

 

Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Project Management Experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Expresses self well in groups and in one-on-one conversations.
  • Proficiency in analytical technical tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management.
  • Proficiency in analytical and technical tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Project Management, SharePoint.
