JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
The Supervisor, Work Management is responsible for management of the Grid Substation Operations Planning and Scheduling activities associated with SERC mandated maintenance, routine maintenance, capital failure and construction planning support. It has responsibility for implementation and application of system programs and tools to ensure Entergy policies and regulatory requirements are met.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promotes partnership and supports coordination between other internal and external planning organizations. Works closely with TCC, DOC, and Distribution Regional planners and Work Management Supervisors to assure communication and eƯicient planning across teams
- Advocates priorities of work for maximum resource optimization. Strives to utilize fixed cost Entergy resources to diminish financial impact on capital and operational budget
- Ensures resources across all areas are scheduled against highest priorities within the State and Region. Provides oversight, analysis, and recommendations that impact state priorities.
- Works closely with the Project Manager, and Asset Management groups to develop working forecast based upon revenue, mandated, and approved internal identified projects for optimal project outage planning, implementation timing, and contract resource plans.
- Provides oversight to the Work Management staƯ for prioritization, coordination, execution and tracking of reliability improvement programs as identified by the Asset Management and Reliability group.
- Partners with the Reliability group to administer and execute reliability improvement plans throughout the state. Provides status reports to upper management as required
- Partners with System Work Management Supervisors, Utility Work Management, Capital Projects (T and D) and Customer Service organizations to assure optimal customer experiences.
- Responsible for identifying, updating, and executing departmental processes for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for review and reporting on system controls (ARCHER, PCRS, etc.) for routine and non-routine activities..
- Serves as subject matter expert (SME) for all Planner/Scheduler requirements and responsibilities, including all described in AM-CM-AD-027 Substation Asset Configuration Manual.
- Supports the Storm Response program, including preparedness and training initiatives, as part of the Crew Tracking Branch. Supports Operations leadership in overall operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's degree in related field or the equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position
8 years experience within transmission and/or utility operations.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Proficiency in corporate and distribution applications including AM/FM, Storm Assist, CCS, SAISO, Maximo, ClickSchedule, ClickMobile, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Concur, PowerBI, Cisco Finesse, etc.
