Job Summary:

Seeking a driven, high-energy, experienced change management lead to support Entergy’s Information Technology (IT) function in achieving its strategic direction of operational excellence. This is a person who can work independently to both strategize and tactically execute change management activities related to IT’s organizational transformation, but also embraces teamwork and is highly collaborative.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the OCM (Organizational Change Management) strategy and comprehensive transition and sustainment plans to support the IT strategy
  • Develop and execute OCM deliverables designed to engage employees, which could include, but is not limited to, communications, leadership alignment, business readiness, learning and change leadership coaching
  • Perform stakeholder analyses, readiness and impact assessments, focus groups and stakeholder interviews and all activities included in the change management plan
  • Develop and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization
  • Develop key messages, leadership messages and overarching communications that deliver consistent messaging to stakeholders
  • Design, develop and deliver change management training, and/or lead a team to design, develop and deliver change management training
  • Identify risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop plans to mitigate these
  • Collaborate with leaders and business partners to seek input and prioritize OCM deliverables
  • Report ongoing change management status and stakeholder readiness  
  • Check and adjust as needed for ad hoc change management and communication needs
  • Work under the direction of the Manager of Business Transformation

 

Minimum education required of the position:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

 

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • 10 years of experience with organizational transformation and change required
  • Direct experience with IT organizations
  • Demonstrated experience of independently developing and executing plans and deliverables
  • Demonstrated experience leading organizational transformation and change efforts
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with leaders, including identifying needs, developing action plans, identifying and developing deliverables and presenting results/recommendations

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Prosci certification preferred
  • SharePoint experience is a plus
  • Ability to create high quality communications and deliverables
  • Ability to create and status detailed plans including tasks, milestones and resource assignments
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies and leading practices with previous experience with large scale organizational change efforts
  • Display executive presence
  • Strong consulting skills with ability to influence leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understand importance of frequent and effective communication
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
  • Creative problem-solving skills
