JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Implements the requirements process for the Grid Technology organization that translates user needs into functional specifications including the establishment of standards, use-cases, templates, and critical processes (i.e. requirements, change control, and requirements traceability). Is an intermediary between the business community and Entergy's IT Delivery teams, working with Program Managers, Development teams, Solution Architects, and business subject matter experts (SME) to capture, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. Helps shape the technology
implementation to meet the demand among the business unit.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with Power Delivery business SMEs to capture, analyze, translate, and document business requirements into operational work products (e.g., use cases, functional specs) for T&D to be used by the development teams.

Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of business needs and awareness of business objectives. Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in technology.

Translate both strategic and tactical business requirements into specific operational requirements within an assigned business domain.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
- Desired: Master's Degree.
Minimum Experience:
- Analyst I: 0 - 2 years of professional experience
- Analyst II: 2 - 4 years of professional experience
- Analyst III: 4 - 6 years of professional experience
- Analyst Sr: 6+ years professional experience
- Preferred: 3+ years of operational experience (operating & maintaining electric utility facilities), including previous experience and knowledge of T&D applications.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in writing requirements (e.g., business requirements, use case, functional specs)
- Entry-level project management
- Good organizational skills required with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Working knowledge of the electric T&D systems
- Good computer knowledge regarding Entergy's core T&D software applications and systems (ADMS, GIS, TOMS, etc.)
- Must be able to lead and work with other personnel, departments, and organizations as part of a team to provide high customer satisfaction
