Job Summary:

Seeking a driven, high-energy, highly experienced change management specialist to support Entergy’s Corporate Business Services (“CBS”) in achieving its strategic direction of operational excellence. This specialist will actively execute on initiatives focused on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, organizational structure and job roles. Note: CBS is comprised of Shared Services, Information Technology and Supply Chain.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Drive stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, impact analyses, learning/training, communications, organizational readiness, deployment and adoption measurement. This includes experience in planning, designing and executing change as the means of ensuring faster adoption and utilization.
  • Must be strategic (set vision with leaders) and tactical (executing on the work)
  • Identify and analyze change impact, assess organizational readiness and support a change management strategy that mitigates risk and maximizes employee engagement
  • Develop and execute detailed, tactical plans for change management, communications and training
  • Design, develop and execute deliverables that support communications and training efforts, managing resistance to change and help ensure user readiness
  • Support team members by formatting PowerPoint decks, writing ad hoc communications and developing various deliverables
  • Identify risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop and execute plans to mitigate these
  • Collaborate with leaders to seek input and prioritize deliverables
  • Report ongoing status, stakeholder readiness and overall project health

 

Minimum education required of the position:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required

 

Minimum experience required of the position:

  • 4-6+ years of change management experience required
  • Direct experience with Shared Services, IT and/or Supply Chain organizations preferred
  • Demonstrated experience consulting with leaders, including identifying needs, developing action plans, identifying deliverables and presenting results/recommendations

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:

  • Prosci certification preferred
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies and leading practices with previous experience with large scale organizational change efforts
  • Display executive presence
  • Strong consulting skills with ability to influence leaders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to take direction and adapt to the needs of the customer/stakeholder
  • Understand importance of communicating the right message to the right people at the right time

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Word
