***This will be a hybrid remote role, with the expectations that the employee is able to report to the office on an as needed basis.***

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Act as liaison between business units and IT technical teams. Work with our business partners to understand future goals and objectives to develop strategic plans. Provide Operational Support to ensure customer incident/service requests are handled in a timely manner and there are no impacts to daily operations.

 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing roadmaps for Finance and HR applications by working with our business partners to understand their future goals and objectives.
  • Assist with project planning and initiation for Finance/HR identified roadmap items by working with our business partners to develop business cases.
  • Responsible for execution of the requirements process to translate business needs into functional specifications, including the establishment of standards, use-cases, templates, and critical processes (i.e. requirements, change control, requirements traceability).
  • Provide testing support for approved projects.
  • Provide operational support to ensure incidents/requests are being handled in a timely manner and there are no impacts to daily operations.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education required of the position.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR work experience equivalent


Minimum experience required of the position

IT Business Analyst, Sr: 6+ years of relevant IT experience is required

  • 3+ years’ experience in Utility Industry is a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience in specific Finance and HR functional areas is also a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience in IT Service Delivery is a plus
  • Some experience supporting Finance/HR business applications is a plus


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

This position requires an understanding of the Finance and HR business functional areas as well as a technical understanding of Finance/HR application solutions including integrations to other applications that exists internally and externally.
