The CUBE is a new group within Entergy being established to innovate and disrupt current ways of thinking with customer-focused solutions.


This group will work in a startup environment to quickly identify, develop, and release new products, etc.

Job Summary/Purpose

Owns the vision and definition of the product; represents the voice of the user/asset and stakeholders; creates, maintains and prioritizes activities providing the team with the information on what needs to be built and in what order


Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Deliver product success

    • Define the product and own end-to-end product development

    • Establish and communicate the vision of the product with the team and stakeholders

  • Decide product features

    • Work with strategic and experience designer to understand user personas, pain points & stories, and to set priorities for prototyping & development

    • Lead process of clarifying requirements and delivery expectations with stakeholders

    • Develop feature lists, user stories, and roadmaps

    • Own the creation and prioritization of the product backlog for digital products

    • Gather and manage product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytical tools, and A/B testing

    • Define go-to-market strategy

    • Manage product MVP build and Beta project content and timelines

  • Manage Stakeholders

    • Available to the team to clarify understanding of requirements and to answer any questions

    • Help the team make quick decisions and manage conflicting product requirements

    • Ensure Central team and board are kept informed of product progress through the Product Director

  • Shared Accountabilities and Collaboration

    • Shares accountability with Agile Coach for spreading best practices throughout the team and organization

    • Collaborates with team on sprint planning, impediment removal, and team velocity

    • Defining product vision, roadmap

    • Managing product backlog and creating the Epics and Stories

    • Defining Epic/Story acceptance criteria

    • Ordering which work is done taking technical risk into account

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience.


Minimum experience required of the position

  • 3 years of experience with real business impact


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

  • Project management experience with ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Extensive business domain expertise and/or IT expertise
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively both to internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong business knowledge of Agile rules and practices, and some experience with working in an Agile organization

  • Deep appreciation for how to breakdown Stories to deliver incrementally based on an MVP strategy
  • Ability to embody the values and culture of the Agile methodology
  • Support and play "by all the rules", and try new methods


Business Expertise

  • Proficiency in PC Windows environment (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Entrepreneurial, experience in the start-up scene and/or with innovative tech firms
