Job Title: Sr. Lead Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
The analyst will be a key contributor to Entergy’s investor relations activities. Lead back-up process to ensure all investor relations materials are accurate and complete with supporting documentation. Support processes for earnings releases, year-end reporting (including leading work plans for Entergy’s technical annual report), investor conferences and meetings. Processes include gathering and analyzing data from internal subject matter experts, analyzing and understanding Wall Street expectations, drafting and documenting materials.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead coordination and work plans for fact-checking of externally published investor relations key products, including the quarterly earnings calls and the Investor Guide
Perform detailed review of externally released investor relations materials for accuracy and adequate support
Create, update, edit and proofread investor relations materials distributed to the investment community
Work with subject matter experts across the company to assist in developing investor relations messages and preparing investor relations materials, including issue sheets
Prepare internal reports and updates on stock price performance of the company and its peers, investor dialogue, equity research reports, upcoming investor relations events, etc.
Perform research and analytics around industry trends and peers, as well as other ad hoc analytics for executive management
Understand the financial models and assumptions used by research analysts to value the company and its peers; use this knowledge to improve the effectiveness of the company's communications to the investment community
Maintain the investor relations section of the company website with up-to-date and accessible content
Prepare briefings and materials to help senior management and the board of directors engage with investors effectively
Complete special projects at the request of the Vice-President, Investor Relations or other executive management

- Software expertise: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial databases like Bloomberg or FactSet is also valuable.
- Analytical skills: Excellent analytical and data analysis skills to interpret market trends and company performance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's Degree – Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Relevant Field, or equivalent work experience
MBA or CFA is a plus
Minimum experience required of the position
7+ years, with financial lead roles highly desired.
