Job Location: New Orleans, LA.  The ideal candidate will be enrolled in an accredited school pursuing a degree in Business, or a related field of study.  This position is Hybrid.

 

Job description:  This role will support the Continuous Improvement Office of Strategy Management.  This team provides a broad and varied range of support services related to strategy development, change management, and and continuous improvement program enhancements for Entergy’s enterprise wide Continuous Improvement Strategy.

  

Job Duties / Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in developing plans related to the CI strategy
  • Assist in report building and documentation in PowerBI and MSExcel
  • Support data collection for CI initiatives
  • Provides departmental assistance with project management initiatives and other work deliverables
  • Create ad hoc data tracking and measurements to support stakeholder requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Collaborate and work with multiple cross-functional teams

  

Education Requirements:

  • Seeking an individual pursuing a bachelor’s or  master’s degree with concentration in Business or similar program with strong technical, excel or PowerBI experience
  • Must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s as indicated above and at minimum classified as a Junior with graduation dates of December 2023 or beyond.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position:

  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and in a team environment
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Independent self-starter with attention to detail
  • Good critical thinking skills
  • Microsoft products knowledge with preferred advanced Excel tools (e.g., pivot tables, macros)
