Overview
Entergy is reimagining how we interact with our largest customers to ensure we are building trust, driving value, and growing our customer base. We are seeking a motivated Summer Intern to support our National Accounts team by conducting strategic research and helping design tools that enhance customer engagement across our portfolio of high-impact accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive research on current national account customers to support development of a customer‑facing engagement strategy. Areas of focus include:
Company revenue over the past 3–5 years
Company overview, including parent organizations and associated brands
Geographic footprint within Entergy’s service territory compared to total company footprint
Public sustainability goals (e.g., from 10-K filings) and progress made toward those goals
Summaries of most recent earnings calls, when applicable
Company mission and vision statements
Recent or planned projects (within and outside the Entergy footprint)
Customer competitive position within their market
Relevant recent news articles or public announcements
Design a standardized customer profile template that captures the above information and can be easily, consistently updated over time.
Collaborate with each National Account Executive to set up customized alerts and monitoring tools that provide real-time updates on customer activity.
Collaborate cross-organizationally to leverage AI to support the effort as well as with our CRM team to evaluate and potentially support the implementation of adding functionality into CRM tool.

Desired Qualifications & Skills
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field
• Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
• Comfortable reviewing financial documents, corporate filings (including 10-Ks), and industry reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear summaries and present findings
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about strategy, customer engagement, and utility industry dynamics
• Experience with news alert tools, data visualization platforms, or CRM systems is a plus (not required
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above is required (on a 4.0 scale)
