Job Summary:

The Senior Manager, Value Realization and Financial Management plays a lead role in developing and executing strategies to maximize the value and benefits realized from the company's transformation initiatives. This role works closely with finance and businesses to identify, quantify, and track the realization of business value from key projects and programs. The Senior Manager serves as a strategic partner and advisor, providing data-driven insights to support decision-making and evaluation to ensure the company is achieving its desired outcomes. The role also includes heading up specific PPTO strategy work needed to continue to advance the Path to Premier goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and provide strategic direction for transformation program design and incentive measures to elevate value realization around affordability, operational improvement and employee experience
  • Develop and maintain a value realization framework, including standardized methodologies, tools, and templates
  • Lead aspects of the value realization process, working cross-functionally to monitor and report on the actual value achieved compared to planned targets
  • Partner with financial planning organization to understand how transformation initiatives relate to the forecast and future opportunities
  • Provide leadership for work targeting enhance user transformation experience
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize value delivery and ensure the company is maximizing its return on technology investments
  • Identify and address barriers or risks that may impact the realization of expected benefits
  • Develop trainings to target capabilities gaps and opportunities to accelerate transformation behaviors
  • Develop and maintain long-term financial plans and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights on the financial implications of transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business objectives
  • Identify and assess financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Provide financial advisory services to support the company's overall financial management and planning
  • Develop and provide leadership to senior staff financial analyst currently in the value realization team.

 

Minimum Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in a value realization, business analysis, or Forecast/Planning & Analysis, preferably in a utility or other regulated industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus
  • Project management experience and familiarity with value realization frameworks and methodologies
  • Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling, and the use of relevant software tools
  • Strong financial planning and forecasting capabilities, including experience in developing long-term financial strategies
  • Understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute to the overall financial planning and decision-making process
