Plans, coordinates, performs, and documents Nuclear Oversight/QA activities, which include audits, surveillances, observations, reviews, and performance analysis.  Demonstrates sound judgment, maturity, and analytical ability.

Reviews site and department performance and, based on performance and risk insights, selects areas for surveillance and selects plant activities for observation.

Participates as an audit team member

Effectively communicates with line managers and team members.  Ensures quality and accuracy of Nuclear Oversight/QA reports.  Assists the Audit Team Leader, QA Supervisor, or Nuclear Oversight Manager in roll up of issues to identify adverse trends.

Promotes a quality-centered culture in regards to the Quality Assurance Program.  Familiar with current Nuclear Oversight/QA practices, codes, standards, regulations, and nuclear plant work processes.


Will participate / be a member of the Emergency Response Organization

Minimum education required of the position
Minimum High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Minimum experience required of the position
0 - 2 years experience in nuclear power design, operations, or equivalent experience depending upon engineering level.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft desktop applications. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments.
