Job Description

Develops and maintains detailed schedules for specific tasks assigned within the department. Develop schedules using logic ties in Primavera ( P-6) software.  Assists with configuration management tasks such as equipment database updates, vendor manual changes, and new document numbers.


  • Develops and maintains a detailed work schedule for design engineering activities.
  • Develops and maintains and maintains resource loading profiles. Interfaces with work group representatives to level resources using selected profiles.
  • Facilitates the interface between multiple work groups. Identifies deficiencies, analyzes alternatives and recommends solutions to schedule conflicts. Recommends changes to existing methods, procedures and processes to improve overall activities.
  • Communicates technical information, concepts and ideas both verbally and in writing. Serves as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
  • Facilitates and coordinates the Engineering Change Review Group Meetings.
  • Assists with minor changes to the equipment database.
  • Serves as vendor manual coordinator for engineering.
  • Issues new document and equipment numbers for configuration management.
  • Facilitates and tracks the configuration management backlog. 
  • Tracks and maintains design engineering indicators.

Minimum education required of the position
Desired: High School diploma with power plant experience in maintenance or operations. 

Minimum experience required of the position
At least 4 years of nuclear power plant experience.

Desired: 2 years experience in maintenance or operations at the facility.

Desired: A minimum of 3 years P-6 Software Scheduling experience and Objective evidence of a P-6 credential will be considered.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations. Outstanding communication and conflict management skills.
Desired: Proficiency with current computer business applications.

Desired: Demonstrated Proficiency with Primavera P-6 Scheduling Software and Asset Suite.
