Job Title: Coordinator Sr Security Staff: Compliance

Job Summary/Purpose

Provides oversight of the Security program and drives department standards and standardization by ensuring compliance with federal requirements, company policies and procedures, and performs other compliance related duties as assigned.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Acts as the Security lead for Software Quality Assurance (SQA), Integrity Audits, department quarterly reports, Security procedure development and revisions, 10 CFR 50.54p and Security reviews, and provides oversight of the lock and key control program.
  • Manages the department causal evaluation program, self-assessment/benchmark program, Safeguards program, Security Underground Pathway (UGP) and Unattended Openings (UAO) programs.  
  • Acts as the Department Performance Improvement Coordinator (DPIC), Target Set Panel Chairman, Security point of contact for Local Law Enforcement, Operations, Emergency Planning, Cyber Security Group.
  • Maintains Security license-based documents, site maintenance and lay down areas to ensure there is no impact to Security, Security system password log
  • Documents department monthly Performance Indicators. Participates as a member of the Emergency Response Organization.
  • Attends associated fleet and/or industry meetings/conferences to ensure alignment and compliance. Participates in the Western Nuclear Security Association (WNSA) calls.

 

 

Minimum Requirements   

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

 

Minimum experience required of the position

At least 4 years of supervisory/management experience in commercial nuclear security, or equivalent work experience in the military or Entergy HQN Security.  

 

Desired: At least 4 years of experience in Nuclear Plant Security, and experience supervising union and contract employees. Department Performance Improvement Coordinator qualification.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Technical proficiency in Nuclear Security or the ability to acquire it rapidly.

Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operation.

Desired: Proficiency with current computer business applications. Outstanding communication, conflict management, and change management skills. Ability to effectively manage multiple investigations simultaneously and exhibit unquestionable ethics and integrity.
