This position offers strategic and operational support to the department's leadership, project managers, and industrial account executives. Responsibilities include conducting marketing analysis to identify customer growth opportunities, coordinating logistics for customer meetings, and supporting departmental projects. Duties also include managing correspondence, documents, and presentations. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure service reliability, building long-term customer relationships, promoting utility programs and services, and working on efficiency and sustainability initiatives. Additional responsibilities involve organizing events, maintaining workflows, and facilitating the execution of agreements and contracts.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to leadership, project managers, and industrial account executives with a variety of support tasks and time-sensitive activities.
  • Supports the economic development team through marketing analysis to provide data and insights related to customer needs and future opportunities that support Entergy Texas’s growth strategy.  
  • Coordinates logistics and materials for meetings with industrial customers and external clients.
  • Support departmental projects and provide general administrative assistance.
  • Manage correspondence and routine documents and presentations given minimal direction. Prepare documents, spreadsheets, presentations, newsletters, interoffice correspondence and copies.
  • Perform support related tasks and activities that align with the revenue growth strategies of the market they serve.
  • Build and support long-term partnerships to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty and expansion.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify efficiency upgrades, process improvements and sustainability initiatives.
  • Confirm completion of tasks and resolve any outstanding items promptly, especially those that are time-sensitive, such as contractual requests, RFIs, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Supports the execution of agreements/contracts and maintaining repository of the agreements.
  • Promote utility programs, products, and services including electrification, demand response, distributed generation, and renewable energy offerings.
  • Partner and collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, metering, billing) to ensure service reliability and timely response to outages or quality issues.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management, including executives.
  • Track project announcements, capex and jobs for economic project developments across the region
  • Attend business recruitment events, conferences, and local council meetings
  • Coordinate with Special Projects team on promotional and marketing materials

 

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Experience with data analytics, project management, and key account management is highly preferred.

 

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office software.
  • Strong skillset with Microsoft Office toolkit for the purpose of producing accurate and concise reports, analyses, and presentations suitable for use with executives, regulators, and key constituents outside of the Company.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects with the ability to adequately assess and assign priorities ensuring that commitments and schedules are met. 
  • Must demonstrate willingness to take ownership of assignments and issues, working to closure while facilitating and coordinated resources needed for proper resolution. 
  • Strong written and verbal skills are necessary.
