Job Summary/Purpose
Responsible for planning and scheduling distribution line maintenance tasks, Grid capital projects and day-to-day activities for the distribution line work.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Develops short and long term schedules, updates area work plan, schedules work requests in DIS/MAXIMO and maintains documentation.
Interfaces and with internal groups such as Project Management and Construction, Major Accounts, Transmission Operations Center, Distribution Operations Center and Transmission Operations Planning for planned outages and resource coordination.
Submits and monitors project outage requests.
Leads the weekly planning meetings with the construction resources.
Identifies deficiencies, analyzes alternatives and recommends solutions to schedule conflicts.
Serves as a member of the Storm Response Team.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position
Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position
Pl/Sc Coord: 2-4 years
Sr Pl/Sc Coord: 5+ years. Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Planner/Scheduler
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Experience/training in scheduling resources or maintenance and construction practices. Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and database applications. Desired: Knowledge of,DIS, GDT, AMFM, DFM, Distribution Line construction, maintenance and materials.
