JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:

The primary responsibilities of this position will be the validation of meter data that will be sent to MISO for use in their daily Market Settlements calculations and to Entergy’s shadow settlements group for their use in verifying MISO’s calculations.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Investigate and resolve issues related to GMS SCADA and MV90 to ensure meter data quality is accurate.
  • Work with neighboring Balancing Authorities, Embedded Entities, MISO Market Participants, LBA Real Time Operations, and other applicable groups to confirm meter data submissions.
  • Maintain and configure Energy Accounting tool to comply with Commercial Model updates as well as new projects, facility studies, and routine updates.
  • Calculate and submit MISO Commercial Pricing Nodes within MISO settlement calendar on behalf of Entergy and any contracted customers that require a Meter Data Management Agency.
  • Interact with the IT organization on the development and maintenance of IT-supported tools and processes.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

GPA 3.0 or above. 

Pursuing a BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Nuclear Engineering.   Familiar with various databases and software applications such as Microsoft toolkit (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
