Job Summary/Purpose

 

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Recruiter/Sourcer is a dual-function role responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment while proactively sourcing and engaging top talent for current and future hiring needs. This position combines strategic sourcing with candidate management to deliver high-quality hires across the enterprise. Success in this role will require the ability to find qualified candidates for a variety of positions and entice them to consider employment with Entergy, a discerning eye to determine which applicants are invited to interview with business leaders, and strategic management of the selection process from requisition creation to offer acceptance in a way that delivers optimal outcomes for all stakeholders

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

 

Full-Cycle Recruiting

    • Plan and execute all steps in the hiring process from requisition creation to offer acceptance for assigned requisitions.
    • Conduct thorough intake sessions with hiring leaders to define role requirements and create marketing and sourcing plans.
    • Screen and interview candidates using phone, video, and digital tools to assess qualifications, interest, and availability.
    • Manage the interview process, obtain feedback, and guide hiring decisions in a timely and compliant manner.
    • Develop and present competitive offers, including salary analysis and negotiation, partnering with HRBPs and hiring managers.

 

Sourcing & Pipeline Development

    • Design and implement advanced sourcing strategies using market research, workforce planning data, and talent mapping.
    • Utilize Boolean search, social media, professional networks, and niche platforms to identify and engage passive candidates.
    • Build and maintain candidate pipelines in ATS/CRM for critical roles and future workforce needs.
    • Execute employer branding initiatives to attract diverse talent and position Entergy as an employer of choice.

 

Stakeholder & Candidate Experience

    • Foster strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure a positive experience and high satisfaction.
    • Communicate status updates throughout the recruitment process, including timely feedback to unsuccessful candidates.

 

Compliance & Systems

    • Manage requisitions and candidate activity in the ATS to ensure compliance with OFCCP and AAP requirements.

Minimum Requirements

 

TA Recruiter II

  • 1+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree preferred; 2+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree required.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system, customer relationship management system, or a similar system at an enterprise level.

 

TA Recruiter III

  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree; 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system, customer relationship management system, or a similar system at an enterprise level.

EEI Testing:

One way that Entergy has found to identify and assess the abilities and skills needed for certain jobs is through pre-employment testing.
