This position can be filled as a TA Recruiter III or Senior based on related experience and qualifications.

 

Job Summary/Purpose

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Recruiter is a full cycle Recruiter position on Entergy’s Talent Acquisition team responsible for candidate sourcing, candidate screening, management of the interview process, and job offer presentation and negotiation for various craft and professional positions across the company.

Success in this role will require the ability to find qualified candidates for a variety of positions and entice them to consider employment with Entergy, a discerning eye to determine which applicants are invited to interview with business leaders, and strategic management of the selection process from requisition creation to offer acceptance in a way that delivers optimal outcomes for all stakeholders.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing strategies for assigned requisitions to ensure successful execution of the candidate sourcing, candidate screening, interview process management, and offer presentation and negotiation activities related to assigned requisitions.
  • Plan and execute all steps in the hiring process from requisition creation to offer acceptance autonomously for assigned requisitions. May coach less experience recruiters.
  • Conducts thorough intake sessions with hiring leaders. Creates marketing and sourcing plans based on the knowledge gained in the intake sessions for assigned requisitions.
  • Design and implement a robust candidate screening strategy to assess qualification, interest, and availability of candidate pools using a combination of phone, video, digital, and in-person tools.
  • Interview candidates to make decision on which candidates move forward for consideration by business leaders based on candidate qualifications, interest, and availability using combination of phone, video, and digital tools.
  • Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective interactions and builds relationships with candidates & internal stakeholders to ensure positive stakeholder experience and subsequent feedback/survey responses. May be seen as point of contact for TA in operating company.
  • Develop collaborative relationships and partnering with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), hiring managers and other stakeholders to provide recruiting & sourcing expertise.
  • Obtain interview feedback and hiring decisions from hiring managers in a timely and compliant manner. May coach less experienced recruiters on how to assess feedback.
  • Communicates status updates to candidates throughout recruitment process including decisions to unsuccessful candidates to ensure positive candidate experience and survey response.
  • Manage offer development including salary analysis, review, and participate in negotiation and re-negotiation of offers for various positions included senior management. Partners with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to negotiate offers with candidates when necessary.
  • Utilize market & workforce planning data to determine advanced sourcing strategies for assigned requisitions to generate diverse slate of most-qualified candidates.
  • Plans and executes Employer branding activities for Talent Acquisition to create active sourcing channels conveying Entergy as an employer of choice.
  • Manage and oversee requisitions through the application tracking system (ATS) to ensure that hiring activity is documented according to OFCCP & AAP requirements.
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

           

Minimum Requirements

Minimum experience and education required of the position                                       

 

TA Recruiter III:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree preferred; 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system, customer relationship management system, or a similar system at an enterprise level.

 

TA Recruiter, Senior:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree; 6+ years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system, customer relationship management system, or a similar system at an enterprise level.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

  • Must be a self-starter, exhibit a positive attitude, comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment with a strong sense of urgency to deliver for the business.
  • Ability to develop strategies for assigned requisitions to ensure successful execution of the candidate sourcing, candidate screening, interview process management, and offer presentation & negotiation activities related to assigned requisitions.
  • Must possess an advanced understanding of TA concepts, strategies, policies & processes to fully adhere to compliance and legal requirements.
  • Must possess the ability to screen, interview and prepare a qualified candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Ability to effectively manage a requisition load while adhering to department’s KPIs.
  • Ability to develop and sustain collaborative relationships with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), hiring managers and other stakeholders to provide recruiting & sourcing expertise.
  • Strong in balancing multiple priorities, stakeholders, and work streams simultaneously.
  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. 
  • Effective at resolving problems by providing creative solutions.
  • Ability to learn and utilize HR systems and ATS within TA scope to write, run, and analyze queries and reports. Must be willing to train others in their use.
  • Acts as a leader/coach to less experienced recruiters.
  • Ability to handle & maintain confidential information.
  • Strong PC Skills with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills both written & verbal.
