JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
The Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Coordinator manages the planning and scheduling of all maintenance activities to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the plant. Procures all materials, secure available manpower and schedule activities in accordance with Entergy's maintenance management process to maintain all RMP goals. Maintains storeroom inventory and manages associated plant budgets. Performs long range planning for outage maintenance tasks and auxiliary outage projects and develops integrated outage schedules for all outage tasks. Performs contract management activities to support auxiliary outage work. Ensures all work is completed in accordance with Entergy procedures and within compliance guidelines under Sarbanes-Oxley.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs all maintenance planning activities to ensure correct materials and manpower resources are available to support preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and fault-finding activities prior to them being scheduled
- Manages, prioritizes, and schedules all maintenance activities at the plant. Builds weekly maintenance schedules, manages the maintenance backlog and identifies any emergency break-in work that requires immediate attention
- Maintains the work maintenance system (AIMM) for the plant. Ensures all outstanding work is documented with a current work request detailing the required scope of work. Ensures all completed work requests are closed out showing a detailed description of work completed and man hours logged against each task
- Manages all day-to-day storeroom activities. Monitors and maintains inventory levels and supports all audits and statistical inventory counts in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley rulings
- Performs long range planning for outage preventive/corrective maintenance task and for auxiliary outage projects. Develops outage work schedules and manages all contracts, contractors and budgets associated with this work
- Manages multiple annual maintenance contracts for the plant. Schedules contractors to perform work and manages all associated budgets. Manages the plant VRC process to secure resources for outage support
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum experience required of the position
- Planner/Scheduler Coordinator: 4+ years of related experience
- Planner/Scheduler Coordinator Senior: 6+ years of related experience
- Desired:
- Experience in outage and daily scheduling
- Proficiency in Primavera (P6)
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365/Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work Management experience
Any certifications, licenses, etc. required of the position
