Job Summary/ Purpose

The successful candidate will lead and manage cross enterprise teams to launch and market new products and services developed by CI&S.  Additionally, this role will provide leadership internally and for external partners. It will work closely with OpCo leadership collaboratively to deliver Salesforce-based marketing solutions and initiatives for Entergy residential, commercial, and industrial customers. This role will serve as the Salesforce marketing and business communications thought leader and manager, for multiple product and service lines of business.

 

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall go-to-market process for CI&S. Be the trusted advisor and key partner for new Products and Services organization by designing and developing customer marketing strategies and campaigns for new products and services based on Salesforce.

 

Lead and manage the evaluation of business and technical requirements and provide guidance to stakeholders on functional business solution architecture, design, application and integration development best practices, enterprise architecture standards, environment management, testing, and platform education in coordination with Salesforce COE.

 

Provide project management of implementation activities, including:

  • Negotiating solutions to complex problems with both the business stakeholders and third-party partners.
  • Troubleshooting implementation issues while driving successful resolutions.
  • Developing and maintaining key artifacts to keep programs on track and solutions extendable and maintainable going forward.
  • Pro-active identification of risk areas while managing an issue through to complete resolution.

 

Advise and mentor product teams in business and functional design aspects through designing new solutions using Salesforce.

 

Become a trusted partner with Entergy Salesforce COE leadership and the Products and Services team by delivering innovative business solutions that utilize Salesforce.

 

Management of major marketing initiatives across the enterprise to support Envision future state objectives.

 

Minimum Requirements

Minimum education required of the position

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, MIS, or equivalent work experience.

 

Minimum experience required of the position

Proven results leading and overseeing business stakeholder projects and working with IT Salesforce COE on front and back-end solution architecture, development and release management strategies, change management, and direct leadership in designing solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder needs.

 

Experience with enterprise integration, and working with different IT groups, and external technology partners.

 

Ability to create high level cases for digital investment with strong knowledge and background in digital architecture and systems design.

 

Third-party technology vendor management skills .

 

Desired:

4+ years’ experience as a Salesforce business architect, business analyst, or consultant in a mid to large sized organization with demonstrated leadership driving an organizational transformation in a matrix organization.

2 years’ experience with Agile and Waterfall implementation methodologies.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position

Exposure to key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, and master data management. Ability to work independently and be a self-starter. Ability to communicate and present effectively with all levels in the organization.Strong interpersonal communications skills. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Experience with the issues and challenges associated with the Energy industry (e.g., regulation, technologies) preferred. Agile practices and processes preferred. Salesforce Mobile design and development practices preferred.

 

Any certificates, licenses, etc., required for the position

PMP certification preferred
