JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Responsible for managing exceptions associated with the schedule that Click generates for simple projects, which can include short- and long-cycle work.

 

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manages the exceptions associated with the schedule CLICK generates.
  2. Works with supervisors to resolve schedule issues and ensures priority work is scheduled.  Monitors radio, phone and system messages to communicate schedule adjustments to field personnel.
  3. Dispatches work after the start of the day (after field employees have left the yard in the morning) using CLICK software, including adjusting crews as necessary after initial dispatching.
  4. Contacts customers as needed to resolve access issues.  Makes customer contact to resolve customer issues/complaints as needed.
  5. Identifies schedule deficiencies, analyzes alternatives and recommends solutions to schedule conflicts.  Works with affected parties to ensure that conflicts are resolved and/or mitigated.
  6. Interfaces with internal groups such as Project Management and Construction, Major Accounts and Distribution Operations Center for planned outages and resource coordination. Adjusts schedules based on feedback.
  7. Serves as a member of the Incident Response Team.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum experience required of the position
0-4 years of customer service, meter service, or service scheduling/dispatch experience.

 

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work with multiple levels of the organizational structure. Strong verbal and written communications skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Experience/training in scheduling resources or maintenance and construction practices.
